Creative Arts: Film & Visual Effects 2 builds on learning completed as part of Film & Visual Effects 1/S.
Students further develop and apply knowledge & understanding they develop through their research and analysis of example films in the investigation task. Student’s further develop practical skills through their skills assessment task which are then applied in their final film products. Students will be asked to develop individual films, however they can work together in small groups to assist in their completion.
The subject also focuses on the development of post-production techniques using Adobe Premiere and After Effects. The subject is designed for students who have a keen interest in film development and visual effects and requires students to work independently on large products. Students will be required to complete one film product, with supporting documentation, an investigation and a skills assessment task.
