Humanities is a compulsory full year subject at Year 9.
Subject Description
In this subject, students learn to think clearly about current issues confronting them and their world. Students undertake four Humanities disciplines of History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and Business & Economics. Students develop inquiry skills that lead towards conceptual understandings of the relationships between individuals, societies and the environment in which they live. They learn to act as responsible citizens of local and global communities.
